The Redlegs are proud to announce the smooth transition to our new Senior football coach Scott Stefanos. Scott has been working with Baz over his three seasons as senior coach of the Redlegs. The club, Scott and Baz had looked at 2026 as a transition year for Scott to step in as senior coach in 2027. Once getting into pre season Baz quickly realised he no longer had the required energy the role required to be fulfilled and achieve to the full potential.
Baz has been an incredible coach of the Mighty Redlegs. His football knowledge, work ethic, teaching and demand of excellence is second to none. He has taking our club to places we could only ever dream, but to do that takes a great deal of time and effort. The learnings for our young footballers is something they will carry throughout their football journey and something we hope has become engrained in our club.
Now we look forward to Scott stepping into the role and continuing to build his strong relationships with the players and keep the momentum of our footballers moving forward. We are incredibly proud to have our senior football coach a born and bred local.
Scott is a very club minded coach with a strong focus on junior development.
Joining Scott in the 2026 coaching lineup will be Michael Celestin & Jye Formosa as playing assistant coaches. Michael will also be leading our reserves football along with Jordon Keel.
